Someone Just Died in the $20 Million Mansion for Sale at 75 Warren Street
Police were called to the scene of one of the most expensive houses on the market in Tribeca.
TRIBECA, NY — A dead man was discovered by police at the pricey townhouse for sale at 75 Warren St. early Thursday morning.
The NYPD said they reported to the residence at 12:30 a.m. and found an 86-year-old man unresponsive in bed. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, the death is not being treated as suspicious and therefore the man's name could not be released.
The property, however, was sealed off on Thursday. A sign on the door, alerting readers to a D.O.A. on the scene, read: "These premises have been sealed by the N.Y.C. Police Dept. pursuant to Section 435, Administrative Code. All persons are forbidden to enter unless authorized by the police department of public administrator."
