Staten Island Ferry Suspicious Package Forces 90 Minute Closure
A suspicious package closed the Staten Island Ferry's Whitehall Terminal downtown for about 90 minutes. Delays are expected to linger.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT – The Staten Island Ferry's Whitehall Terminal is back open after police determined that a package did not pose a threat. The terminal was closed for about 90 minutes.
Police were called about 2:30 Sunday afternoon after a "suspicious package" was found.
Ferry Service was suspended and the terminal was evacuated.
