This Is The Priciest Neighborhood In The City
The most expensive neighborhood in the city, with median residential sales prices at more than $4 million, probably won't be a shock.
TRIBECA, NY — The median price of homes in Tribeca still top New York City at $4.34 million, the latest PropertyShark analysis says.
Tribeca kept its top spot as the priciest neighborhood in the city, with Hudson Yards rising to second, according to the new PropertyShark report that looked into residential sales in the second quarter of 2019.
One-hundred transactions for homes were made in the second quarter, the report said. Median sale prices in the second quarter of 2019 were also 14 percent higher than 2018's second quarter, the report said.

PropertyShark looked at median residential sale prices based on sales that closed between April 1 and June 30 for single-family homes, condos and cooperatives. Only neighborhoods with more than five sales were included.
Earlier this year, Tribeca was named as one of the entire country's richest ZIP codes. The nabe's 10007 ZIP code had an average annual income of $879,000 making it the fifth richest ZIP code in the United States, a Bloomberg report said. Tribeca's neighboring ZIP codes in the Financial District and Battery Park City also made the top 50 on that nationwide list.

Hudson Yards was the second priciest in New York City, per PropertyShark, last quarter with a median sale price of $3.86 million.
Little Italy and SoHo were next, with $2.66 million and $2.61 million median sale prices, respectively, per the report.
Gramercy Park was tenth, with a median sale prices spiking 87 percent from last year to $1.7 million, the report said.
