Wall Street Subway Station Closed After Reports Of Smoke: MTA
All 2 and 3 trains are being rerouted during the Thursday evening rush hour.

WALL STREET, NY — No 2 or 3 trains are stopping at the Wall Street or Clark Street stations during the Thursday evening rush hour because of a smoke condition reported at Wall Street.
An FDNY spokesman confirmed that firefighters were investigating a smoke condition at the Wall Street stop along the 2 and 3 lines. The spokesman said that firefighters had been in the area since about 5:15 p.m., but did not have additional information.
The MTA said that 2 and 3 trains were being rerouted to avoid both the Wall Street station and the Clark Street station in Brooklyn.

All southbound 2 trains are stopping along the 5 line, and all southbound 3 trains are stopping along the 1 line between Chambers Street and South Ferry. All southbound 4 and 5 trains running local between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays and Franklin Avenue in Brooklyn.
For commuters stuck without service at the Wall Street or Clark Street stations, the MTA promised block tickets to allow commuters to re-enter at nearby stations.

Service Update: Passengers at bypassed stations may request a block ticket from station agents to re-enter the system for service on nearby lines. Our crews are on scene and working to restore service as soon as possible. (2/2)
