Watch: Peregrine Falcon Eggs Laid In Financial District Nest

At least two falcon eggs have been laid in the nest, which sits on the 14th floor of a 54-story skyscraper in the Financial District.

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, NY — The peregrine falcons of Water Street have laid their first eggs of the year.

Adele and Frank, the celebrity birds who live on the Financial District skyscraper, have laid their first two eggs of the season.

The two birds have maintained a huge following thanks to the live web cab that sits near their nest of the 14th floor of the 54-story building at 55 Water St.

Peregrine falcons have been among the most consistent tenants of 55 Water Street. The birds have lived outside the building since 1999 when the first couple, named Jack and Diane, moved in. Since then, generations of birds have returned to the building.
