This Woman Says She Endured a Trump-Style Verbal Assault at Wolfgang's Steakhouse
Restaurant employees came outside, Lindsay Means says — but only to tell her to calm down and let the "good guys" enjoy their meal.

TRIBECA, NY — One woman in a trio of women who walked past Wolfgang's Steakhouse at 409 Greenwich St. in Tribeca last Friday reported being harassed by three men at the restaurant — who allegedly hurled Donald Trump-inspired epithets at them — then being ignored for days by Wolfgang's management when she complained.
Lindsay Means took to Twitter Saturday morning to explain what went down:
Last night, as 2 of my friends and I were walking past @Wolfgangssteak Tribeca, 3 men smoking outside shouted "GRAB THEM BY THEIR PUSSIES"

"I marched inside the restaurant and told the 2 hostesses that their customers were sexually harassing passers," she said in a followup tweet.

Means said restaurant employees then came outside and told the women to calm down and allow the "good guys" enjoy their meal.
The Tribeca Citizen, which first reported Means' story, also documented her days-long struggle to convince Wolfgang's owners to issue "a written apology and a statement that the restaurant won’t condone this behavior in their guests or employees."

Steakhouse representatives finally responded publicly to Means' accusations on Monday, saying on Twitter that they "do not condone harassment of any kind."
"We’ve reviewed what occurred Friday night at our TriBeCa location and spent today internally addressing how it was handled by our team," the restaurant tweeted.
But just when it seemed Wolfgang's reps were prepared to apologize directly to Means, they tweeted at the wrong person:
.@LindseyMeans we're sorry for how you were treated by our guest.

Twitter users rubbernecking the drama blasted the restaurant's handling of the issue, and some vowed never to step foot in the establishment again.
@Wolfgangssteak I will personally share this story with every woman I know - especially the ones who take clients out for meals.
