74-Year-Old Man With Alzheimer's Missing In E Village: Officials

A 74-year-old man with Alzheimer's has gone missing, officials said.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — An elderly man with Alzheimer's has gone missing, according to police and the local council member.

Peter Michaels, 74, was last seen about 4 p.m. Saturday on 14th Street near Union Square, according to the NYPD.

The man has Alzheimer's and may be in need of medical attention, according to Council Member Carlina Rivera.

Michaels is about 6 feet 3 inches tall, 200 pounds with green eyes and grey hair, according to police.

Police said he was last wearing a blue baseball hat, tan pants, a black jacket and sneakers, and wire-rimmed glasses. He lives near 14th Street and Avenue A.
