Blue Bottle Coffee To Open Near Union Square
New York City is getting another Blue Bottle Coffee. This one's near Union Square.

UNION SQUARE, NY — A new Blue Bottle Coffee outpost is opening in Greenwich Village this week, the coffee chain announced on Tuesday.
The popular Oakland-based coffee chain will open its doors at 101 University Place on Aug. 31 near Union Square. On Wednesday, the shop will have a soft-opening where community members can get a free cup of coffee. Pastries and merchandise sold on Wednesday will benefit the cafe's partner, the International Rescue Committee. Wednesday's "Community Day" and special promotions will last from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
