LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Bones were found at a construction site on the Lower East Side Tuesday morning, an NYPD spokesperson confirmed.

Cops went to investigate just after 11 a.m. at Rivington and Forsyth streets where bones were found, the spokesperson said.

It was not immediately known Tuesday whether the bones found were human or animal bones, but an NYPD spokesperson later told the Bowery Boogie the bones belonged to an animal.
