Couples Are Getting Married At &Pizza For Pi Day
At least five couples are getting married at &pizza in the East Village on Wednesday for Pi Day

ASTOR PLACE, NY — Five couples are getting married in an East Village pizza shop on Wednesday to celebrate Pi Day.
The chain &pizza is hosting couples in its Astor Place location at 740 Broadway on Wednesday for free weddings in its space. The Washington, D.C.-based pizza chain provides weddings for couples every March 14, with flowers, photography, food and drink all provided.
The wedding ceremonies, decorated and arranged by &pizza, are scheduled to coincide with Pi Day, celebrated every March 14, or every 3/14, because 3, 1 and 4 are the first three numbers of the mathematical constant pi.
