East Village Shop Is Collecting Kids' Winter Coats Until Friday

An East Village shop is collecting kids' coats to help children experiencing homelessness.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — An East Village boutique shop is holding a children's coat drive through Friday to help homeless families this winter.

An.Mé on East Ninth Street is calling for new or used coats and other winter clothes for kids ages 3 to 16-years-old until Dec. 6.

You can drop off the donations at the boutique shop and get 15 percent off your purchase, the store said in an Instagram post.

The coat drive is in partnership with the non-profit Women In Need, which runs shelters and supportive housing for women and children who are homeless.
