Jared Kushner's Tenants Share His 'Sleazy' Tactics
It appears that Trump's son-in-law did not make East Village great again.
EAST VILLAGE, NY — New York City isn't exactly famous for benevolent landlords and one more rather prominent name just got added to that seemingly endless list: Jared Kushner.
Village Voice's Steven Wishia went ahead this week and asked his New York tenants about the real estate mogul who, according to those directly dealing with his management company Westminster City Living, was less than pleasant to live under.
The controversial tactics purportedly deployed by Kushner were called "construction as harassment" by tenant advocates.
