EAST VILLAGE, NY — The largest Latinx celebration in Lower Manhattan returns to Loisaida this Sunday.

The Loisaida Festival kicks off Sunday at 11 a.m. The community parade returns to the Lower East Side's Avenue C for its 32nd year, paying tribute to the neighborhood's Puerto Rican heritage.

This year, the theme is "Strong Roots, Healthy Branches: Harvesting Connections" — a theme aimed to illuminate Loisaida Inc.'s Puerto Rican roots and commitment to the neighborhood, the organization says.
