Man Stabbed To Death Outside Of Jacob Riis Houses: NYPD

A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death outside of Jacob Riis Houses Monday night, police said.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — A man was stabbed to death Monday night, police said.

Officers responded to an assault reported at 1115 FDR Drive outside of the Jacob Riis Houses about 8:50 p.m. Monday, according to police.

When they arrived, a 27-year-old man was found with stab wounds in his stomach, police said.

Emergency medical services took him to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Someone involved in the Ninth Precinct stabbing was taken into custody, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
