EAST VILLAGE, NY — A man walked into an East Village church and stole a woman's wallet from her desk, according to the NYPD.

A woman, 33, returned to her desk at Grace Church, 802 Broadway between 10th and 11th streets, and found her wallet missing Tuesday, April 9 about 1:50 p.m., police said.

Further investigation revealed a man had walked into the church and removed her wallet, which had cash, credit cards and identification, police said.

The man is as about 30-years-old and was last seen wearing all blue clothes, police said.
