Massage Parlor In The East Village Shuttered For Prostitution: Report

The massage parlor advertising 'foot and back rubs' was offering a lot more than that, according to a report.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — An East Village massage parlor where workers reportedly agreed to have sex with undercover police officers for cash has been shuttered, DNAinfo reported on Monday.

Nie's Service Center in the East Village was closed last week after the city filed a lawsuit accusing the Fourth Street business of prostitution and performing massage services without the proper licensing, according to DNAinfo. A restraining order forbidding prostitution and a court-ordered closure notice were both posted in the business's window. Patch was not immediately able to contact a representative of the business on Monday. Undercover officers visited the parlor, located at 125 E. Fourth St., on four separate occasions. Twice, a female employee accepted money to give an undercover officer a massage and to have sex with him, according to the lawsuit. Investigators also said two employees did not have the proper license to work as masseurs in New York state.
