The Producers Club To Present: THE MAGICAL ADVENTURES OF BENNY AND GRIFF

Join musical comedy duo Benny and Griff as they present their first full-length musical, “The Magical Adventures of Benny and Griff”, debuting at the Royal Theater at The Producers Club in Manhattan. The production opens on August 18th, and runs for three nights only.
Co-written and directed by Griffin Hennelly and Michael Benjamin Bunin, this adventure tells the tale of the magical island of Umbachtu, which has been taken over by a malevolent and mysterious entity known only as “The Dark One”. Umbachtu’s only hope to save the land from doom is Benny and Griff, two red-hatted troubadours whose birth from an egg on Mount Umbachtu was foretold in an ancient prophecy. With the help of a drunk pirate, a shy sea monster and a hermit, the boys must find The Umbachtu Book of Fun, defeat The Dark One, and save Umbachtu from certain peril.
The Magical Adventures of Benny and Griff is the culmination of the past few years of Michael and Griffin's work. All previous productions of Benny and Griff have been workshops, and each character has been brought to life with a cast comprised of New York and New Jersey based actors and stand-up comedians. Featured in the cast are Nolan Hennelly as Captain Barry, Stephanie Windland as the Gallump and Louise, Dave Columbo as Dave the Salesman, Eric Dolan as The River Beast, Matt Leary as The Dark One, and of course, Michael Benjamin Bunin and Griffin Hennelly as Benny and Griff, respectively. The production opens Thursday, August 18th at 7:30pm, with its run concluding on August 20th. Performances will be held at The Royal Theater at the Producers Club at 358 W 44th St, NYC. Tickets are available at the door for $25, and advanced tickets are available for a limited time at $15, which can be purchased online at www.bennyandgriff.eventbrite.com
