Rumble Boxing Gym Coming To The East Village

Rumble, the boxing gym backed by Sylvester Stallone, is looking to open a studio in the East Village this summer.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — The celebrity-backed boxing studio Rumble is adding a third location in Manhattan, with plans to open a gym in the East Village before the end of the summer.

Rumble, which currently operates a studio in Chelsea, is looking to open its next studio at 700 Broadway, according to an application filed with a Community Board 2 committee.

A spokeswoman for Rumble confirmed to Patch that the fitness studio is planning to open its East Village location by the end of the summer. She added that the new studio will be similar to Rumble's Chelsea location on 23rd Street and will include two floors.

The company has also announced a location on the Upper East Side, which is likely to open next year. The Chelsea location of the boxing gym has been frequented by Justin Bieber, and Sylvester Stallone is also reportedly an investor in the company.
