Theater Turned Hotel on Avenue A is Almost Finished
The building has million-dollar condos, a roof deck, garden, and a Blink fitness on the first level.

Another day, another gorgeous modern condo building across from Tompkins Square Park.
Work is done on million-dollar condos on 100 Avenue A between Sixth and Seventh streets, marking another development in the crazy history of the location from historic movie theater to housing for the rich.
The local blog EVGrieve found that on Monday, construction workers removed the scaffolding from the building and revealed a fresh, new building. You can see the photos over at the blog, and you can also go into a deep dive of the movie theater's architectural remains.

The building is eight stories with 32 units. Its one-bedroom apartments in the building start at $1.3 million, The Real Deal reported last year. The retail space on the first floor is a Blink Fitness Center where membership is $25 a month, a bargain for someone paying millions for a living space.
Building amenities include a roof deck, a garden in the second floor, and, of course, a doorman on duty 24/7. A representative for Ben Shaoul, the building's developer, told Curbed that move-in could be late September/early October if all goes as planned.
