There's An NYC Movie Festival For People Who Hate Valentine's Day

Hate sappy romantic comedies? The Anthology Film Archives has an alternative.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — If you're looking for some decidedly unromantic films to watch in lieu of celebrating Valentine's Day, the Anthology Film Archives is back with its annual "Valentine's Day Massacre" film series.

Between Wednesday and Sunday, the East Village indie movie theater will screen some of the best "radically anti-romantic films" to give masochists and cynics alternate options to a traditional feel-good movie.

All of the films will be screened on 35mm at the theater, located at 32 Second Ave.
