The vegan eatery is open through at least the end of October in the East Village.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — A vegan eatery called Skinny Buddha is opening a pop-up for three months in the East Village — with eyes set on finding a permanent digs in New York City.
Skinny Buddha, which has a location in Mount Kisco, brings vegan food and smoothies to 45 East First St. between First and Second avenues.
In 2015, owners Elyce Jacobson and Shaka Taffawa opened a Scarsdale eatery, which recently closed. They added a location in Mount Kisco and now a temporary location in the East Village — though the restaurant says it hopes to stay.
