325 Year Old Sag Harbor Home Sells For $1.47M

Thought of as the oldest house in Sag Harbor, the beautiful home was moved a whopping five times before its current location.

SAG HARBOR, NY — What's said to be the oldest home in Sag Harbor has just sold for $1.475 million, according to Douglas Elliman.

Represented by Barbara Lobosco, Robert Evjen and Judith Auchincloss of Douglas Elliman, the 1,100-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath home at 64 Union Street was built circa 1693 in Sagaponack and is one of the oldest still standing in the Hamptons.

The home was moved a whopping five times before being settled at its current location — and, still intact are a number of original details, including exposed beams and wide-plank wood floors.

According to the Douglas Elliman listing, the living room and dining room are the core of the original structure; featuring original exposed beams, wide wood plank floors and two working fireplaces that add to the home's charming ambiance.

The spacious upstairs master suite features a dormer, and the kitchen was updated with new cabinets, countertops, and appliances. The home also includes a carriage house with full bath, radiant heat in floors, central air conditioning and plenty of space for entertaining or use as an artist's studio or office, the listing says.
