Open-hearted supporters contributed the $500,000 netted at ARF’s summer gala, contributing to the organization’s $2.9 million dollar operating budget. It was the organization’s most successful benefit ever, ARF representatives said.

“ARF is committed to this lifesaving work and is thankful for its adopters, donors, rescue partners and volunteers, with whom these achievements are made possible,” a release stated. “ARF’s mission is to actively rescue cats and dogs, provide quality care and offer sanctuary until loving homes can be found.”
