Breaking News: Locals are buzzing about where the band will be performing.

EAST HAMPTON , NY— The big question among Hamptons music fans is where will Coldplay be playing their secret SiriusXM live gig on Sunday. On Thursday, signs seemed to indicate that The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett could be where the concert will take place.
When Patch called The Stephen Talkhouse, an employee who answered the phone, replied, "There are no tickets available."
Also on Thursday, another reliable source who asked not to be identified told Patch that The Stephen Talkhouse was the likely locale.

The legendary Hamptons music venue, located on Main Street, has been entertaining East Enders with live music since 1987. Many well-known performers have not only appeared there, but quite a few pop up unannounced onstage. Just recently when local favorite Nancy Atlas played, drummers from the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chill Peppers joined her.
Among the most famous names who’ve performed there through the years, some announced and some not, include Billy Joel, Van Morrison, Sting, Jon Bon Jovi, Paul Simon, and Paul McCartney.

Some believe the Talkhouse is the perfect location because it’s an indoor venue so weather won't been an issue for the Coldplay performance, which will be broadcast live on SiriusXM on The Spectrum (Ch. 28) at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The exclusive event is invite-only, and the intimate venue has the capacity for only about 125 people.
On the official lineup for Talkhouse performances on Sunday is Raggae Night wth Winston Irie at 11 p.m., which allows for plenty of time for an early evening Coldplay gig.
Other possible venues bandied about have included The Surf Lodge, The Sloppy Tuna, Gosman's Dock and Sole East.
