Donna Karan’s A-List Outdoor Movie Screening In The Hamptons

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Some people are happy entertaining with Netflix and microwave popcorn, but this holiday weekend, Donna Karan raised the bar on at-home movie gatherings.

Donna Karan, whose good pal Barbra Streisand and her husband, James Brolin, were in town for a visit, invited a few A-listers over to watch a film screening with them at her East Hampton compound on the harbor, according to Page Six.

The site reported that the star-studded crowd, including Streisand, Brolin, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Ripa, Lorraine Bracco, Calvin Klein, Andy Cohen, Blythe Danner, Brooke Shields, Katie Couric, Julianne Moore and her husband, Bart Freundlich, gathered around Karan’s outdoor pool to watch a flick and were offered cashmere throws to cozy up in to ward off any chill that might come their way.

The designer and Andrew Saffir co-hosted a screening of “The Light Between Oceans” for the guests and Karan served takeout from daughter Gabby Karan de Felice’s nearby Southampton eatery, Tutto il Giorno, according to the site.
