East Hampton Highway Superintendent Urges Caution on Black Ice

Crews will be out on the roads again today cleaning up after Saturday's storm.

The sun is shining but East Hampton roads are still slick with black ice, and motorists are urged to used caution.

East Hampton Highway Superintendent Stephen Lynch said he was out early this morning checking the roads for icy conditions.

“Everyone should proceed with caution this morning as there is some some black ice,” he said.”We will be sending a couple trucks out, sanding icy intersections. Have a great day and a safe on,e too.”
