East Hampton Library patrons can now ask reference questions through our new "Live" Chat with a Librarian service! The new online service is monitored by one of our librarians during our normal hours, as noted above. Type your questions into the chat box on our website or send your questions via text and you'll receive a real-time reply. If the service is used during our “closed” hours, an email will be forwarded to our staff, who will answer your inquiry at the next available opportunity.
The East Hampton Library staff is pioneering new ways to serve our community through a variety of online platforms. We encourage everyone to visit us online to explore all of the free virtual services available for all ages.
