Sag Harbor Students Pick Soup-er Bowl Winner

Predicted score with cans donated to local pantry.

The Sag Harbor Elementary School celebrated the NFL’s Super Bowl with its own version – the Soup-er Bowl.

On Jan. 30, students each brought in one can of soup and used it to vote for the football team that they were rooting for or believed would win the football game by placing it in a team box.

The ‘votes’ were tallied and the student body predicted that the Seahawks would win this year’s Super Bowl. The final score was 298-89. All of the soup collected will be donated to the Harbor Food Pantry.
