Famous House Flipper Selling "Most Tasteful Home in the Hamptons"
Ex-superstar talent broker turned interior designer has lowered the price of his Further Lane estate to $22.5 million
EAST HAMPTON, NY - You can live like a star—in the incredible home designed by Sandy Gallin, the man responsible for helping guide the careers of many of the biggest names in Hollywood.
That’s right — Sandy Gallin’s remarkable two-acre estate in its stunning Further Lane setting is for sale — and the price has recently been dropped from $24.5 million to $22.5 million.
Gallin is the ultimate Hollywood insider. He knows everyone from his days as a top talent broker and producer. But by the end of the 90s he gave up his career as a super agent for something he loved even more — interior design.

But while he doesn’t have an office, he never needs one because he has the kind of high-powered friends who love to buy, sell and redecorate real estate. And he also loves to do it for himself and has become a power house flipper.
His latest flip is a seven-bedroom/nine bathroom (plus two half bathroom) home that Gallin originally purchased in East Hampton in 2011 for $5.1 million. He moved in and revamped the entire estate by building the 6500 square-foot new yet classic farmhouse style main house, according to Realtor.com. And he also designed the expansive outdoor entertaining spaces, built a granite pool, four outbuildings, a pool house, a guest villa, a gym and a three-car garage.

Now Gallin is selling this masterpiece at 466 Further Lane — the epitome of his ultra chic, natural, yet utterly luxe style. Described by Linda Haugevik, the Douglas Elliman broker who has snagged the listing, as “the most tasteful house in the Hamptons,” Gallin’s celebrity pals concur with her assessment.
Former client Dolly Parton always knew he had an eye for design when she stayed with him at his home in LA. “I walked in and thought, 'Oh my God! This is beautiful. It is so well-done.' I grew up with no taste, no money, no style, no class, no nothing, so you appreciate those kinds of things. Even though he loved show business — he was the best manager that I and many other people ever had — his greatest gift is what he is doing now,” Parton told Architectural Digest.
And Kelly Ripa told the magazine: “The first time I went to one of his cocktail parties at a place he owned in the Hamptons, I overhead a woman say: ’This is what God would do if he — or she — had money.’ That’s pretty much it.”
