The reggae artist Maxi Priest will give a free concert poolside at The Backyard Restaurant at Solé East Resort in Montauk on Saturday, July 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The Backyard Restaurant at Solé East is helmed by executive chef Adam Pitré, and offers a fun, lively and fresh concept, focusing on local and sustainable seasonal cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. The outdoor space has been conceived as a Hamptons' sanctuary—a bit like relaxing in a backyard—with tables placed beside beautiful gardens and lush lawn surrounding a pool.
Maxi Priest hails from South London where he is famous for his R & B and Soul infused reggae. His music is much beloved by fans of other reggae greats such as Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Toots and the Maytals and Dennis Brown.
