Isaac Mizrahi will host “Get Wild,” a benefit for the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center at the home of the painters April Gornik and Eric Fischl in North Haven on August 9, beginning at 6 p.m. Catering will be by The Art of Eating with wine from Wolffer Estates, Crystal Head vodka and margaritas made with Clase Azul Tequila.
Steven Martin and Anne Stringfield, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Carey Lowell and Hilaria and Alec Baldwin will be the evening’s honorary chairs. The Marder family, Jane Gill, Dr. Jonathan Turetsky and the Vetrinary Clinic of East Hampton will be honored for their outstanding and tireless work with animals.
An impressive roster of contemporary artists have donated work which is being auctioned off to benefit the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center. Paintings, prints and photography by Roy Lichtenstein, Ross Bleckner, Patrick Demarchelier, Arthur Elgort, Eric Fischl, April Gornik, Patrick McMullan, Cindy Shrman, Bruce Weber, Vija Celmins, Mary Heilmann, Malcom Morley, Keith Sonnier and Billy Sullivan have been listed on the Paddle 8 website. Bidding is currently open.

There will also be a live auction on the night of the event featuring Jean Pagliuso’s photograph Owl XIV, a coveted golf foursome at The Bridge, a collectible bottle of Clase Azul Ultra Tequila signed by the company’s founder and distiller, and two tickets to the invitation-only opening night and after party for The Last Ship, a new Broadway musical written by Sting.
