Legendary Board Shaper and Paddlers to Attend 5th Annual Paddle Race
The event will take place in May in Sag Harbor.

Main Beach Surf and Sport announced on Monday that legendary board shaper and paddlers, Joe and Jack Bark, will be attending the 5th annual Paddle Race for the Baykeeper event on Saturday, May 9 in Sag Harbor.
Joe Bark, of Bark Paddleboards, is renowned for his legendary shaping skills in creating some of the fastest SUP’s and prone paddleboards in the industry.
His son, Jack, most recently won the famed Molokai to Oahu race (a.k.a. M2O) in 2014.

The race will take place on Havens Beach at the Northwest Harbor, overlooking historic Sag Harbor.
Joe will be the Master Board Shaper for the event while Jack will be the Champion Prone Paddle Racer.

There will be a Stand-Up Paddle Division (3-Mile Recreational Course, 6-Mile Elite Course) and a Surf Ski, Outrigger Canoe and Kayak Seated Craft Division (3-Mile Recreational Course, 6-Mile Elite Course).
The cost of the event is $75 for Pre-Race Registration and $90 Day of Registration.
All proceeds will benefit Peconic Baykeeper’s clean water programs.
