Local Teens Raise Funds For The Retreat
Hampton Bays teens raised money for The Retreat, an agency dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence in East Hampton.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Teenagers turned to kindness to help fight back against domestic violence.
Hampton Bays High School’s Leo Club recently presented East Hampton’s The Retreat with a check for $145. The club raised the funds during a Domestic Violence Awareness campaign, led by student Lizeth Reyes, the district said.
As part of the project, Leo Club members sold friendship bracelets, the district added.
