Man Stole Shotgun, Bowie Knife From East Hampton Homes: Cops

EAST HAMPTON, NY — The search is on for the thief who stole a shotgun and a Bowie knife from two homes in East Hampton, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, the two residential burglaries took place on Thursday at 5 p.m. on Sammys Beach Road. Surveillance cameras in one of the homes captured images of the thief, "a man in his 20s, approximately 5’10" to 6’2", who was wearing a dark-colored face mask, black hooded jacket and blue hooded sweatshirt with a light blue logo on the left chest area," police said.
Items stolen include a nickel plated Remington pump action shotgun and a large silver Bowie knife, police said.
