Matt Lauer's Estate Price Cut By $2M

SAG HARBOR, NY — If you've ever wanted to own a gorgeous home in Sag Harbor, here's your chance: Matt Lauer has just cut the price of his Sag Harbor home by $2 million, according to Realtor.com.

The post says, according to Behind the Hedges, the beautiful 25-acre property was first listed at $18 million when it was listed in 2016; the price was later reduced to $17 million and now it's priced at $14.9 million.

The gorgeous estate features an 8,000-square-foot, two-story home with six bedrooms, six baths, an eat-in kitchen with center island, and great room with cathedral ceiling and wood beams, Behind the Hedges said; the home's exterior is also a standout and sports formal English gardens, a heated pool and Har-Tru tennis court.

Lauer listed the home after he and his wife purchased Richard Gere’s former North Haven estate Strongheart Manor, a 6.2 acre waterfront beauty within minutes of Sag Harbor's Main Street that they snagged for "half-off" the original $65 million price tag, Patch reported last year.
