The Montauk Music Festival, a four-day musical celebration featuring talented up-and-coming independent artists, will take place throughout Montauk May 14-17.
An opening party is set for Thursday night at Gurney’s Inn.
According to the website, “the Montauk Music Festival is a volunteer-run, grassroots live music event designed to celebrate, support, and promote the thriving Montauk music scene while showcasing and stimulating the burgeoning artistic, commercial and pedestrian activity in Montauk.”

Graduating East Hampton High School seniors continuing their education in the music field are also eligible for a scholarship sponsored by the festival. See the website for details.
