New Boutique Hotel, Event Space To Open In Amagansett

AMAGANSETT, NY — A new, 25-room boutique hotel and event space is set to open in Amagansett just in time for the summer season.
The Roundtree, Amagansett will officially welcome bookings beginning in May, 2020 and "unite the acres-deep history of the Hamptons with tranquility and timeless hospitality for sophisticated urbanites and global travelers alike," a release said.
“Our historic barn and cottages have been completely renovated to incorporate all of the contemporary amenities and touches modern day travelers expect. The Roundtree, Amagansett looks forward to enchanting and amazing travelers by offering a tranquil escape in the Hamptons as your home away from home,” said Sylvia Wong, a Director of WTI, Inc., a private investment firm and owner of The Roundtree, Amagansett. “Our vision is to offer opportunities for reconnection with nature and friends. We’re excited to begin welcoming guests to their new second home in the Hamptons this summer.”

The hotel celebrates the area's "humble farm-steading origins" with lasting design inspired by nature in its historic cottages and barn.
Hotel guests can expect luxury amenities, "thoughtful offerings", and two acres of landscaped gardens where they can enjoy daytime picnics or BBQ dinners, as well as event space which can accommodate up to 250 guests for a wedding or lively reception, the release said.

Just steps from the village of Amagansett and a short walk to the ocean, The Roundtree allows guests to enjoy the best of the Hamptons — "or to retreat in bucolic bliss into the two-acre property formerly known as Gansett Green Manor."
