NYC Woman Killed After Car Crashes Into Pole In Amagansett: Cops
The crash took place early Wednesday morning, police say.

AMAGANSETT, NY — A New York City woman died Wednesday after a single-car crash in Amagansett, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Ellyn E. Tucker, 73, was driving a 2019 Nissan Kicks north on Napeague Meadow Road at 5:43 a.m. when her car left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Tucker was transported by Amagansett Fire Department ambulance to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

East Hampton Town Police detectives and the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating; the vehicle was impounded for a safety inspection, police said.
