Pet Food Pantry Helps Families In Need Feed Animals In Pandemic
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will be distributing pet food to the needy and collecting donations for shelter pets, too.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — The pandemic has left many families struggling to put food on the table — and that includes finding ways to feed their pets.
To that end, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will hold a Pet Food Pantry Day on Saturday, Dec. 19, from noon to 3 p.m.
Just in time for the holidays, ARF will be distributing pet food to those in need — and collecting pet food donations, too. ARF's pet food pantry will be open for both cat and dog food donations and pick-up, for those in need in the community.

Donations of unopened bags of cat and dog food, both wet and dry, as well as treats are needed, ARF representatives said. Social distancing will be observed, and ARF has asked that visitors wear masks when picking up or dropping off food.
