EAST HAMPTON, NY — It was a night of music and A-list mingling as celebrities gathered at Ron Perelman’s estate on Georgica Pond to raise $5 million for the Apollo Theater’s education, artistic and community programs.
Gwen Stefani left no doubt in the audience’s mind if Blake Shelton would be joining her on stage. As soon as she started her set, Shelton was by her side to sing their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”
Other standout performances included Lionel Richie, Pharrell Williams, Jon Bon Jovi, Ciara and Kimberly Nichole, all backed by The Roots.
