'Prayer Vigil For National Unity' Held On Zoom
The online event will be hosted by the Jewish Center of the Hamptons Saturday, with prayers for national unity after violence rocked D.C.
EAST HAMPTON, NY — Following a week a rocked by violence after an angry mob stormed the U.S. Capitol Wednesday, breaking windows and leaving five dead, a virtual prayer vigil for national healing will be held on the East End.
The Jewish Center of the Hamptons will present "A Prayer Vigil for National Unity" with the East Hampton Clericus via Zoom on Saturday at 5 p.m., with the aim of "grounding ourselves in hope for a positive future," an announcement read.
The vigil will be a non-partisan and non-sectarian event. Participants are invited to be prepared to light a candle.
