Richard Moore Thayer, of Bridgehampton, Dies at 84

Richard Moore Thayer, of Bridgehampton, died on Thursday, December 17 in Sagaponack. He was 84.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 18, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Brockett Funeral Home located on 203 Hampton Road in Southampton.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 19, at 10 a.m. at the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church located on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton.

The burial will take place after the service at Edgewood Cemetery and will be followed by a reception back at the church parlors.

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church “Paint Fund.”
