Robert De Niro Flies Into East Hampton Despite Hermine Warnings

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Are you looking at me, Hermine? Robert De Niro proved he’s a tough guy both on and off screen as he wasn’t going to let any Hermine tropical storm warnings keep him from spending Labor Day weekend at his oceanfront home in Montauk.

Some East Enders left town before there was a chance the storm could hit the area and other weekenders canceled their plans to travel to the area, but not De Niro. He was spotted at the East Hampton Airport loading his luggage into the back of his SUV after he flew into town Saturday, reported the Daily Mail.

Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea, also were seen on the same day at the airport, according to the paper’s website, which reported they had flown into town and then drove off in a classic convertible.

The couple have an oceanfront estate on Lily Pond Lane in East Hampton.
