The show "Woodstock and Beyond," consists of approximately 25 photos from small to large featuring Roger's unique photojournalism talent.

Photojournalist Roger Sichel's exhibition titiled Woodstock and Beyond will be on display at the Maidstone Hotel in East Hampton Friday, July 2, from 5PM to 8PM. Roger is excited and shared some of his thoughts. He said, " It’s been a great ride. So many great moments. Like John Lennon and Yoko saying to me and my wife. 'It’s like looking in mirror.' Then there was (Andy) Warhol saying to me, 'Sure I'd luv to help you with this project. (actually twice.) It goes on and on. It’s a wonderful life."
Sichel went on to say, "Folks who inspire me are 'Futurists,' Elon Musk , Warhol, Mick Jagger along with East Village fashion. Folks who are creative enough to see the future and can impact the world hopefully for the better. This is dating me, afterrall, I was at a Joan Baez concert Forrest Hills Tennis Stadium, and in the middle of show she said, 'I would like to introduce you to my friend. His name is Bob Dylan.' That moment had a major impact on both music, poetry and culture all in an instant.
When talking about his past Sichel said, "I was a photo journalist. So many of my pictures tell a story. For example, 'Roadside Pickup' with Mick and the gun Johnny Winter along with Janis Joplin plainly showing the pain in her face. Another photo, 'On the road to Woodstock,' this image of the biker and his girlfriend clinging tightly on to him stopped on the side of road. The biker hitting on the woman on the street, her boyfriend stoned on who knows what and the biker babe pushed off. What a moment."

Talking about another photo in the exhibition titled "Smokin Hot," Roger Sichel said, " To me this reminds me of the famous times square photo of the sailor kissing the woman(he didn’t know) in celebration of the end of WW2 .Which was a moment in time which was the beginning of the future and a positive cultural change. As is Smokin Hot . A kiss representing the cultural change brought to be by the next generation. The Woodstock generation."
"Woodstock and Beyond" is a must see exhibition. Friday July 2, at the Maidstone Hotel, in East Hampton Village, 5PM to 8PM.
