Shuko Beach, Pop Up Japanese Restaurant, Returns To Hamptons

The popular Japanese omakase and kaiseki restaurant is coming back to Highway Restaurant & Bar in East Hampton.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A well-received pop-up eatery is headed back for a new season in East Hampton.

This summer, New York City's Japanese omakase and kaiseki restaurant Shuko returns to East Hampton for another pop-up dining experience at Highway Restaurant & Bar, located at 290 Montauk Highway in East Hampton.

Shuko Beach will launch on June 7 and will be open on Friday and Saturday evenings until June 27, when it will add Thursday evening service; three nightly seatings at 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9 p.m. will be offered, according to a release.

The pop-up will remain open through September 2.

Chefs Nick Kim and Jimmy Lau will offer selections including Sushi Omakase, a seasonal, 15-pc sushi progression with granita for dessert; an a la carte selection of handrolls, as well as Shuko’s famous house-made milk bread with Caviar Russe and uni; and beverages including SOTO sake, wine, champagne specials and two signature cocktails.
