String Of High-End Vehicle Thefts In Hamptons: Police

All the high-end vehicles were reported to have been left unlocked with the keys inside, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Authorities are investigation a string of high-end vehicle thefts that took place in East Hampton Saturday, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, the larcenies took place in the early morning hours when a 2017 Land Rover, a 2010 Land Rover, and a 2019 BMW X5 were all taken from driveways in the area surrounding Springy Banks Road.

All vehicles were reported to have been left unlocked with the keys inside, police said.
