Tom Brady Dined At Hamptons Hot Spot Cittanuova
The football star showed up with Boston Celtics basketball players and officials who wanted Kevin Durant to sign with their team.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Where do sports fans and players hang in East Hampton? Cittanuova, of course.
As if it isn’t already steamy enough this holiday weekend in East Hampton, the presence of Tom Brady—the Boston Patriots QB and husband of supermodel Gisele Bundchen — kept East Hampton’s Newtown Lane sizzling Saturday afternoon when he came into Cittanuova for lunch.
Nikki Garrett, the hostess at Cittanuova, told Patch that Brady and some Boston Celtics basketball players and officials, were in the restaurant for lunch on Saturday July 2, adding: “Tom came in wearing a khaki-colored paperboy cap. He’s very tall and he's better-looking than he looks on TV.”

The New York Daily News reported that the Celtics had been trying to woo Kevin Durant, at the time an NBA free agent, to sign with them. And it appears that Brady isn’t just the most well-known NFL Patriots team player —he’s a loyal Boston team player as he was helping the Boston Celtics basketball team land the big one. Durant had flown to Boston to talk with the Celtics and then he, Tom Brady and the Celtics posse flew to the Hamptons where Durant was mulling over offers from various teams.
And on Saturday Brady and the Celtics players and officials who were in town had lunch at Cittanuova.

Cittanuova, known for its chic design mixed with Hampton style, friendly atmosphere and contemporary Italian cuisine, is also the go-to East Hampton spot to watch sports on the wide-screens at the bar. So it’s not surprising Brady and co. picked this hot spot to make sports come to life for the other restaurant patrons and staff.
Unfortunately not even Brady’s star power could convince Durant to take a chance on the Celtics; on July 4 Durant announced on The Players’ Tribune: “I have decided that I am going to join the Golden State Warriors.”
