Top 10 Most Expensive 2020 Home Sales In the Hamptons: Report

EAST END, NY — The most expensive home sale in the Hamptons last year was recorded at almost $85.5 million, according to a new report detailing the Top 10 Most Expensive Home Sales in the Hamptons in 2020 by Town & Country Real Estate.

According to the report, David Geffen, who sold the Warner Estate to Jeff Bezos for $16.5 million, went on to record the most expensive home sale for 2020 when he purchased 650 Meadow Lane in Southampton for $84,445,726.

Coming in second for most expensive was 15 West Dune Lane in East Hampton at $61 million. Next, at third, was 187 Dune Road in Bridgehampton at $50,150,000, and in fourth place for most expensive home sale was 1050 Meadow Lane in Southampton for $40,9190,000, Town & Country said.

The fifth most expensive home sale was recorded at 1400 Meadow Lane in Southampton, which sold at $39,500,000, followed by 382 Barons Lane in Southampton, which sold for $38 million and came in sixth place.

In seventh place was 32 Windmill Lane in East Hampton; the home sold for $37 million, Town & Country said. And in eighth place was 1116 Meadow Lane in Southampton, which sold for $36 million; rounding out the Top 10 were 27 Drew Lane in East Hampton, at $35,750,000; that home sale came in ninth, the report said. And in tenth place, 317 Murray Place in Southampton sold for $35 million, according to the Town & Country report.

The 2020 Top 10 most expensive home sales in the Hamptons totaled $457,755,726, the report said; the last time a total that high was seen was in 2014, when the total was $446,392,350, Town & Country said.
