Town Of East Hampton: EH Town Welcomes New Director Of Code Enforcement

EH Town’s  new Director of Code Enforcement, Kevin Cooper, left,  a retired NYPD Sergeant, joined Don Kauth, the outgoing director, at an ordinance enforcement meeting on Wednesday morning. The meetings, with public safety officials from all town departments, including town attorneys and EH Town Police Chief Mike Sarlo, are held weekly by Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc and Deputy Supervisor Kathee Burke-Gonzalez to coordinate efforts to uphold and enforce the town code.  Mr. Kauth was presented with a plaque and a round of applause in appreciation of his service.
