1 Dead, 1 Critically Injured After Nassau Crash
A 27-year-old man was killed in the crash, police said.
WESTBURY, NY — One person was killed and another was seriously injured after an early morning crash in Westbury Wednesday.
According to police, a 27-year-old man was driving a 2018 Honda Accord north on Carmen Avenue at 4:05 a.m. when he lost control and hit a pole near Lake Lane. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County police medic.
A 27-year-old man in the passenger seat was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, police said.
